Objectives of the ‘Talking Books’ are to:
- 1) Develop a tendency to stand up for social harmony, peace and prosperity in the society.
- 2) Provide inclusive and innovative learning platform beyond the classroom.
- 3) Support the academic journey by addressing individual learning gaps.
- 4) Increase social and mental community engagement and acceptances by assisting the individuals to share with others their life story as well as achievements.
- 5) Share attitudes and creativity, skills, social norms and difficulties, beliefs, preconceptions, and prejudices one faced.
- 6) Give awareness of the existence and challenges of courage, stigma, and relationships, etc.
- 7) Dispel people's preconceptions and misunderstandings.
- 8) Develop a mutually supportive and respectful attitude that instills human values.
- 9) Promote self-awareness and self-purification by being conscious of one's own advantages and disadvantages.
- 10) Enhance the capacity in key academic tools.
- 11) Empower students with practical knowledge and skills they need to promote social harmony.
