Objectives of the ‘Talking Books’ are to:

  • 1) Develop a tendency to stand up for social harmony, peace and prosperity in the society.

  • 2) Provide inclusive and innovative learning platform beyond the classroom.

  • 3) Support the academic journey by addressing individual learning gaps.

  • 4) Increase social and mental community engagement and acceptances by assisting the individuals to share with others their life story as well as achievements.

  • 5) Share attitudes and creativity, skills, social norms and difficulties, beliefs, preconceptions, and prejudices one faced.

  • 6) Give awareness of the existence and challenges of courage, stigma, and relationships, etc.

  • 7) Dispel people's preconceptions and misunderstandings.

  • 8) Develop a mutually supportive and respectful attitude that instills human values.

  • 9) Promote self-awareness and self-purification by being conscious of one's own advantages and disadvantages.

  • 10) Enhance the capacity in key academic tools.

  • 11) Empower students with practical knowledge and skills they need to promote social harmony.
