Rationale
The goal of a "Talking Books" event is to encourage interpersonal understanding and communication. Volunteers serve as "books," and visitors (readers/audience) can "read" the book by discussing their individual experiences with them one-on-one. In order to encourage others to bring social harmony, peace, and intellectual prosperity to our society in particular, the "Books" volunteers, who come from a variety of backgrounds, will discuss any aspect of their lives. In turn, the readers may act as change agents and compassionate global citizens who will have a positive impact on society; the "Talking Books" are a useful tool for interpersonal communication. By concentrating on the life stories of people regardless of their caste, gender, religion, community, etc., the best prediction for this work is the rise in harmony in our society, which will assure peace and prosperity for all. When people are treated equally and are willing to let others read their books—the living books—it will advance the idea of accepting people's perceptions, opinions, and beliefs through their life stories and dispel the fear that one belongs to a specific minority, community, or group. Additionally, "Talking Books" will allow readers to ask the questions they've always wanted to ask and books to offer personal anecdotes about their experiences in a safe and welcoming setting. As a result, people can actively participate in the creation of inclusive and understanding communities. "Talking Books" would lower barriers and foster social cohesion by fostering communication and understanding between individuals from various social backgrounds and will inspire youth to achieve excellence in their respective fields of interest. Hence, it is envisioned to expose the youth to a variety of people with backgrounds and realities that are different from their own. It's an effort to foster intellectual curiosity and mutual respect while encouraging variety and the exchange of various viewpoints.
