It is impossible to be involved in the healthcare or education industry of Pakistan without recognising the achievements of Prof. Rashid Latif.
From an early age Prof. Rashid has had a passion for education. He understands the importance of educating the youth and upholds the idea that this is the only way for a country to progress. Which is why even as a young doctor he joined the department of obstetrics and gynaecology of his alma mater Nishtar Medical college.
Prof. Rashid has made great strides in advancing the healthcare industry of Pakistan. Besides being first surgeon to perform an endoscopic surgery in Pakistan, he also accomplished the incredible feat of creating the first successful IVF pregnancy in South Asia.
Prof. Rashid spent a considerable time as Dean of postgraduates at Post Graduates Medical Institutes (PGMI) Lahore.
