Dr. Ulfat Jahangir is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Religious Studies at Rashid Latif Khan University, Lahore. She is a dedicated educationist and researcher, holding a PhD in Islamic Thought and Civilization from the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore.
With over a decade of teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels, Dr. Ulfat Jahangir has established herself as a committed academic with a strong focus on integrating classical Islamic knowledge with contemporary ethical and social issues. Her academic journey includes valuable teaching and research experience at reputable institutions such as Rashid Latif Medical College and Rashid Latif Khan University.
Her areas of specialization include Islamic Civilization and contemporary discourses, particularly the application of classical Islamic thought to modern societal challenges. She is deeply engaged in promoting critical thinking, intellectual engagement, and analytical skills among her students. Her expertise extends to curriculum development, interdisciplinary teaching methodologies, and data-driven assessment strategies aimed at enhancing learning outcomes.
Dr. Ulfat Jahangir has made significant contributions to academic research through her publications in HEC-recognized journals and presentations at national and international conferences. She is proficient in Arabic, Urdu, English, and Punjabi, and is also recognized for her active participation and achievements in academic debates and scholarly forums.
In addition to her teaching and research contributions, she demonstrates strong leadership in mentoring students and fostering a culture of continuous academic improvement. Her academic interests also include interdisciplinary research, academic writing, and policy development in the field of Islamic Studies.
