The MS Clinical Psychology is a two-year, four-semester professional degree designed to train
students as competent clinical psychologists. The MS Clinical Psychology program at RLKU
follows an integrated model combining lectures, workshops, and supervised clinical
placements, with two-thirds of the training being practice-based. Students complete supervised
placements across multiple clinical settings, including but not limited to psychiatric hospitals,
general hospitals, special schools, and rehabilitation facilities. Graduates develop hands-on
competency in psychological assessment, therapeutic interventions, and clinical research, all
applied within professional and ethical frameworks. Graduates are trained to build advanced
diagnostic, therapeutic, and research expertise to lead mental health services, practice
evidence-based therapy, and contribute original research to Pakistan’s underdeveloped clinical
psychology field.
